And so we sail along like ships on the sea –

Catching the waves, feeling the breeze of the salty air upon our faces –

Each of us on the same sea, yet each in our own vessel.

The glow of the setting sun transforms the sky and the water into a work of art, filled with warmth and peace and wonder –

Forces of nature working together to create a masterpiece.

Surely we can feel the power of God in this divine splendor.

With each second that passes the sun sinks a bit lower in the sky and the scene changes ever so slightly –

Still beautiful, but not the same as the moment before…

Hold onto each glorious moment –

Take it in, savor it, enjoy its magnificent presence in your realm of experience

For the beauty that surrounds us will fade in a few fleeting moments

And another day will have ended…

Another precious day of existence will have been put to rest.

Ahhh, but yes, we will have the beautiful memories –

And a new day to greet us, new experiences to embrace.

How blessed are we…

But let us never miss the glory of this moment –

The beautiful here and now.

And let us be thankful for it.
