There is but one day for this lovely flower to bloom…
One day of beautiful glory.. one day to sway gently with the breeze, one day to bask in the filtered sunlight.
And as I take note of its lovely presence, so sweetly absorbing the light of day, yet sitting there so quietly, unnoticed by most… I think of all the days that we each have.. to bloom. And of all the days that we waste.
This little flower will wither tomorrow, its beauty just a memory.
But our days of blooming are slightly more plentiful. And they are here to be used in special ways…to shine, to give, to live with all the love and energy that we can muster… for as long as we can stay abloom.
